THE BRAND STORY:
Pixie Nut & Co. first began in 2016 with a range of recycled greeting cards, and has since expanded into a beautiful collection of Australian-inspired accessories and clothing. Designer Philippa works from home in an off-grid community in Northern NSW, surrounded by subtropical rainforests.
I’m originally from Perth where I draw much of my inspiration. Western Australian is so beautiful, I went up and down the coast a lot as a kid. I’m also inspired by my current surrounds in the Northern Rivers and all the amazing bird life here and various road trips around the country, especially the red center. I d always wanted to be an illustrator or fashion designer so it’s really cool that I ve ended up doing something in-between where I can explore both dreams.
